1. Compatibility

The adapter is only compatible with the specified circular saw model. The name of the compatible saw is indicated on the bottom right of the adapter.

2. First Use – Inserting the Circular Saw

Insert the circular saw into the adapter at an angle of approximately 45 degrees, starting on the side with the overhang. The adapter uses a push-fit mechanism, which means a bit of force is required to snap it into place. Do not worry—the adapter is very durable.

3. First Use – Mounting the Circular Saw with Adapter onto the Guide Rail

Retract the saw blade guard and slide the circular saw with the adapter onto the guide rail from one end until the blade is nearly touching the rubber splinter guard.

4. First Use – Cutting & Calibration

Before the first productive cut, the guide rail should be calibrated. To do this, make a cut along the full length of the rail. Ideally, place the guide rail on sawhorses and clamp it down securely. During this initial cut, a small part of the rubber splinter guard will be trimmed off—this is completely normal and intended. This ensures that for all future cuts, the rail can be aligned directly with your cut line (on the waste side of the workpiece) to show exactly where the cut will fall.
